First; Determine where you get the water that comes into your home.  Are you on municipal (or city provided) water, or do you have a private well?  A private well may necessitate the use of an additional heavy sediment pre-filter. 

Second: Determine the size of your family, rough usage and if possible the size of the main water line coming into the residence.

I want an EcoPro water filter system, how do I decide what size I need for my home?

This is determined by taking into account several factors: 1. Size of house   2.  Number of people in the house  3. How much maintenance is required of a EcoPro whole house water filter system?

The great thing about an Ecopro water filter system is the maintenance free aspects. There is NO Salt or NO Potassium to add or change out, and no filters to exchange for 10 years.

Where are the EcoPro whole house water filter systems installed?

The whole house units are installed near the main water service line. For most houses this is located in the garage or side of house.  These systems have a large capacity but a small footprint of just several square feet.

How long does it take to install a EcoPro whole house water filter systems installed?

The whole house units can be installed by a professional plumber (recommended) or if you are handy it is possible to do this yourself.  A typical installation can take 1-3 hours depending on various cicumstances.

How does the water taste?

The EcoPro systems remove impurities but leave the minerals.  These minerals in the water are what give water its taste.  In fact, most bottled water companies purify the water and then add back these minerals for taste.
